We are excited to have as our special guest Dr. Joshua C. Eyer, associate research professional in the Alabama Life Research Institute at the University of Alabama, who is the academic sponsor of this research. Under Dr. Eyer’s oversight, TAVA’s research will meet rigorous standards for original research, and it will inform policy at the VA and other governmental entities as well as provide a valuable resource for defending the trans community and informing further research. This QA reporting system is for veterans and military personnel who also identify in the LGBTQ+ community and has been developed by TAVA with the help of many other trans, non-binary, gender diverse, and LGBTQ+ veteran/military organizations and groups.

A Financial Report will be provided and we will discuss the upcoming activities and programs we have been working on as welcome our new Board Members.
